To clarify the terms, in Traditional Marketing uses newspaper, magazines are the simple terms, other examples are mailbox, TV ads, radio, etc. are the advanced terms.  On the other hand, building a website, advertising a brand name through different Social Media like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube this kind strategy known as Digital Marketing.

 

Advantages of Tradtional Marketing:

 

The material can be kept.

There are various pamphlet and newspaper printing are easy terms in which people can keep the hardcopy of the material that can be read over and over again. It is the easiest way to advertise about any product or brand.

It is easily to reach your target.

By using TV ads or radio ads you can play at one location where people are usually like to watch TV and listen Radio regularly. Advertise your material on regular basis will be more attractable for people.

It is easy to understand.

It is more understandable for people because they are already exposed with these kind of marketing mechanism.

 

Downside of Traditional Marketing.

 

Printing and radio adds can be more costly.

Printing a newspapers and pamphlets can be a more costly and need to hire more people to distribute these.

 

Advantages of Digital Marketing :

 

People can choose how they want to receive your content.

 Some people may like to read blog post, may other people like to watch Facebook or YouTube video. Tradtional Marketing doesn’t giving choice to people. Some people doesn’t like to receiving printing pamphlets, in this case Digital Marketing is the better option for moody people that they can go through your advertise according to their comfort.

Interaction with people can be possible.

By making your own video and advertise your product by your own through the Digital Marketing can be more trustworthy for people and you can interact with people very easily.
