Indian Traditional Food.

India is known for its spicy and rich food. Indian food giving us many reasons to fall in love with food. India is fulfill with lots of variety in Food according to their state. Each of state is famous for their capital food.

 

Maharashtra :

 

When it come to food, the land of Marathas can never disappoint you. From the world famous ‘Pav Bhaji’ to the delicious ‘Poha’, Maharashtra has lot of to serve for food lovers. Maharashtra is top first state which famous for delicious food in India. Aamcha Maharashtra Food is incomplete without these dishes are ‘Pav Bhaji’, ‘Misal Pav’, and the most famous ‘Vada Pav’, these are very easiest dish serve with soft bread smothered in butter. There are some traditional dishes are frequently making in most of the festivals which are Puranpoli, Modak, Shira, Ravache Ladu are well famous sweet dishes that are unique in their look and also in taste. Maharashtra is also famous for spicy food which involves ‘Bharli Vangi’, ‘Pithla(jhunka) Bhakri’, ‘Rassa’, ‘Poha’, ‘Kandabhaji’, ‘Sabudana Khichdi’ are mouth watering dishes make Maharashtra complete for food.

 

Kerala :

 

Welcome to Kerala, this tropical green state on the southwest of India fulfill with beautiful Raindrops and Rainbows. The Kerala produce excellent seafood, fresh fruit and vegetables and fine meat. Rice is staple in Kerala which provide so many dishes make Kerala complete for food. Kerala means the land of coconuts. We can say coconut is the staple ingredient, be in the form of coconut water, milk, cream, oil etc. Coconut water is the natural energy drink, so pure, refreshing and full of nutrients. There are some Kerala food that you must try involves Puttu and kadala curry, Appam with stew, Idiyappam, Nadan kozhi varuthathu(spicy chicken fry), fish curry, Malabar parota, Banana fritters, Palada payasam, Ada pradhaman, etc. The traditional authentic Kerala meal called ‘sadhya’ is served with rice and 12-20 dishes in a fresh plantain leaf. Kerala takes you on journey of mind-boggling food item which are so tasty that appear to be right out God’s own kitchen.

 

Punjab :

 

All Punjabi dishes are delicious. However there are few Punjabi dishes that deserves credit most of the others.

Mukki di roti with Sarson ka saag : Sarson kaa saag is the flavor of Punjab. Speanach and mustard leafs together produce sauce. Best accompanied with makki di roti made by corn flour.  

Butter chicken : All Punjabis are lovers of butter chicken. Juicy pieces of chicken done half over the tandoor and half in the cream gravy with authenticate spices.

Lassi : Thick yogurt mix with suger make all Punjabis cool inside.

Chole bhature : This is one of the most popular dish made by chole with gravy and huge bhature with maida.

 

Gujarat :

 

Gujarati food mainly comes from Gujarat region of India where majority of people are strictly vegetarians. Most of people from Gujarat also omitting onion and garlic ingredients from their food then to the food of Gujarat is very delicious. Here some dishes you should try during your next trip to Gujarat.

Khandavi : It is made with gram flour and tempered with coconut, mustard seeds and curry leaves. A recipe with its unique shape and flavor that leave memory of Gujarati food.

Gujarati kadhi : Gujarati kadhi is a lovely curry with sweet undertones. It can be enjoy along with rice and chapatti.

Dhokla : The ultimate food of Gujarat is a Dhokla. Learn the art of making steamed dhoklas at home with this simple recipe.

Thepla : Another popular dish Thepla made by whole wheat flour with methi, herbs, chillies, yogurt and suger.
